This
little triangle stitch is great to show off a fancy fiber. It's a little slower
to stitch than some stitches because of the tent stitches, but it is easy to do
and easy to compensate. My sample is worked in pearl cotton, with the tent
stitches worked in Rachel.
Consider working the little tent stitches in metallic. Remember that you can rotate the squares to make the little arrows point in any direction. This stitch is nice in an overdye like Watercolours, with the tent stitches in a solid color. When you do that, it really shows off the changes in color, while the solid tent stitches create a feeling of unity in the area. This is a good stitch for medium to small areas.
