| Class Description: | The hardest thing to create on a painted canvas is the illusion of dimension, of perspective. We do this using texture, both with thread and with stitches. Take one painted canvas out of your stash and move it from impossible to possible during this class. We will concentrate on areas that need dimension in order to be successful. Learn about threads and their uses, and choose threads that will enhance your canvas. Learn about stitches and how to manipulate them, and collect a gallery of ideas for your canvas. This is a class that will teach you to confidently pick stitches and threads for all those painted canvases in your stash. You will get zillions of ideas for the creative use of threads and stitches for embellishment for ALL your canvases. |
